In this mixed-genre session, we will cover the pitfalls and hang ups writers experienced when it comes to revising work to the highest standard: what prevents us from doing the work that needs to be done, and how we might address and reframe our unhelpful habits. We cover exercises designed to help you radically improve the quality and polish of both poetry and prose with “minimal” effort. Many of these exercises will ask us to consider the grammatical structure of our work and put increased pressure on the language in thoughtful, layered ways.
